Token Audits

Your token security metric.

Token audits are available in the Tokens Dashboard and Overview sections for every coin on Nexa.

They're your quick, comprehensive security analysis to help you stay safe while trading.

Token audits provide initial security insights but should not be your only criteria for trading decisions. Always conduct thorough research and never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Each audit aggregates key security signals and simplifies them into an easy-to-read format:

Audit Score Explained

Tokens are rated on a 5-point scale (e.g. 4/5) based on a set of core security factors. Here's what each score generally indicates:

ScoreMeaningExample Issues
5/5Excellent — all core checks passedMinting disabled, no honeypot, LP locked, no risky ownership, low centralization
4/5Generally safe — minor warningSlightly high top-holder concentration, or dev wallet still active
3/5Caution — notable concernsMinting still possible, LP partially locked, some obfuscated code
2/5High risk — multiple red flagsHoneypot signs, no LP lock, high owner control
1/5Dangerous — strong indicators of a scamUnlimited mint, hidden trap functions, unverified code, fully centralized

Ideally, you want to check where a coin might be falling short before trading it.
